Continual in-game directional cursor movement help
Hi,
I'm trying to solve having continual movement for an in game cursor that is following a grid. This is not by mouse, but by key/button input. This is being done in a tactical rpg game, so imagine a cursor on the grid of the map moving one tile each input, but then being able to have the cursor move continually by holding down the button after a certain time threshold is hit.
I can't seem to solve this with both being able to have continual movement and being able to change directions and/or have multiple directions being input at the same time. It always comes out really wonky when trying to implement with some set of bools and coroutines.
Any help or a point in the right direction would be great. Thank you.
