How to play audio through the earspreaker on ios and android?
I'm looking for a way to play audioclips as if someone is talking to you through the phone. So I would like to use the earspeaker.
There are some obscure hits when I google.. one seems to be a hidden feature for iOS that when you record something it will automatically change the output to the ear speaker, and I could use that, but it doesn't seem to be the case for Android.
Ideally I would be able to get a list of speakers from the device, where the first is always the built-in one.. and then be able to tell the audiosource to use it.
Is there anyone with some experience about this that can guide me in the right direction? I'm really not familiar with xcode and the android sdk, but if that's the only way I'd still appreciate some pointers.
Thanks for reading!
Did you find a solution for this? I am facing the same issue now.
