Static Textures taking up memory when not used
Hello, I'm assigning a texture to a static variable. This variable is defined in a script that is not in any scene. It's just in my project folder waiting for other GameObjects to reference this texture variable. My question is. If nothing references this static texture variable in a given scene, will it use up memory given that it is static?
