Why is my question still in moderation since Feb 14th?
Not sure if something is wrong with it, or it just got forgotten about? Here is a link to my question. Here is a link to my question.

@Hellium unfortunately I can't actually see my question anymore in order to see the comment? When I click on my question all I get is:

I'm guessing that question should belong in the forum. It would be nice if I can access it so I can copy it over to the forum.
Here is the particular scenario... I have an enemy ship class which has properties such as speed and hp. $$anonymous$$y ship should also have the ability to have multiple weapons. I would like the flexibility to assign different types of weapons to a single ship and have the ability for each type of weapon to have different characteristics depending on what values I set for the weapon type properties. Currently I have a base Weapon class which has properties common to all types of weapons, such as Rate of Fire, Bullet Type, Damage amount per shot, whether it can do burst fire, etc. There are also common methods applicable to all weapon types, such as Firing and When it gets hit. I then use inheritance and derive classes from the base Weapon class for each type of weapon. Right now, in my ship class I am defining properties which I am passing to each instance of the weapon class (multiple weapons). This allows me pass different values for Rate of Fire, Bullet Type, Damage amount, etc. which means I can have various enemy ships that behave slightly differently. I feel like defining the same properties twice, once in the ship class and then again in the weapon class is not the right way to go? Is there a better way to do what I'm wanting?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions :)

Unity Answers has been running unsupervised for a while. The moderation queue was turned off a few years ago, but sometimes Q's go there by mistake, or some moderators like to delete Q's by moving them there. The rules on Q's are for a much older version. The moderators are not Unity employees and don't have meetings. Everyone has a different interpretation.
Forums (on the stripe at the top) has the same login -- should be automatic if you go there. It has almost no rules on what's allowed, except you need to find the right category. But also no rules that replies have to be about what you asked.
