how to fix scale compensate caused by maya?
Hey everyone,
I hope someone can help me out: I created a turtle model and rig in maya 2018 and for the neck and tongue I used an ik spine rig which was stretchy. now I found out, that I can't get it to work in unity properly (seen in pictures), since unity doesn't support scale compensate from MAYA. After a lot of searching I found the script to stop scale compensate in maya as well, but it just gives the same terrible results in maya as well (of course..). It is impossible to animate with it.
So now my desperate question: Is there any way to fix this, except creating a new rig? It took ages and it would be extremely frustrating to do it again. (also I wouldn't know a different way to do it...)
