How to set created variables on an instantiated prefab different from variables such as Rigid body and Render?
I v'e took a look at instantiate at run time, but I didn't completely understand. It seems to talk about variables that are native to unity. like RigidBody, materials and renders. Maybe my question is answered in the unity ApI, but again my coding expertise is no where near well enough to fully grasp what it states. So Here I go.
I instantiate a random prefab from an array. The script attached has variables(? I think that's what they are called) that do not get set after it has been instanced. This causes two problems. 1 on the click spawn script attached to the player there is no rigid body to set because it is not just one. It is random rigid bodies from multiple prefab. Where do I set this within the array. 2 each prefab has the grab block script attached to it. Which needs a temp parent and carry space variable to be filled and set upon instance.
So, I need to spawn prefab and set variable so I can grab the prefab and move it. I hope this is clear. I thank the community again for you help, patience.
