"PLEASE WAIT" WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE ASSET STORE

The assets' "Buy" icon never shows up. Every asset gets stuck on the "Please Wait" icon. It's driving me nuts. I can see lots of people are having this issue and not a single post anywhere on the internet has been posted about what's wrong or how to fix it. It's been doing this for over a week. Not impressed.
