Using Default Input for mobile platform.
Hello experts and professionals, I am quite a beginner in Unity and have made a game in which my car rolls left when I press they "A" key and rolls right on the right when i press the "S" key on my keyboard. Now when I want to build it for my android device, i am a bit confused about using these keys. I have used Input parameter in the Unity Project Settings where I have set the positive button to "A" and negative button to be "S". I have also used Input.GetAxis("Horizontal") by registering Horizontal as my input for flips. Using the Unity Input also works fine but I still have no clue how to implement this for my mobile. I did try CrossPlatformInput to do this but I was a unable to do so. Sorry this must be a stupid question for many but I am unable to think about an alternative solution. Thanks for helping me in advance everyone. @whydoidoit @aldonaletto @Eric5h5 @Aurore @duck @perchik @clunk47 Sorry if the tag bothered you. Regards.
Hi @uzairamirs
You can't use $$anonymous$$eys or Input Axis in mobile, what you should do is have some buttons connected to your character and set the speed/turn
Thanks for your kind response. But can't we use these through CrossPlatformInput the Unity Standard Asset ones? I did try but did not get the required results that is why had to ask.
