movement control for IOS

I'm new at coding and do not understand it but am trying to make an above camera view game (like a tycoon) for the IOS. I watched a tutorial that told me to download the Dual Touch Controls and I now have the touch areas on my screen but when I play the game and move, my camera just stays still. How can I move my camera with the joysticks?
