My editor-prev.log is over 8GB !?!? can I safely remove it?
Hi guys, as you can see from the screenshot below:
The editor-prev.log size is massive! Over 8GB !!
I was wondering if it is OK to remove it?

yes, it is definite safe. its just a log file with your console errors and stuff. unity will end up generating a new one(not 8GB though, more on the KB scale). The file is basically to help for debugging and development. it contains info on any projects and some minor Graphics info. It also has asset data import times and the Unity version. the only thing is depending on your PC is how long your PC will take to get rid of it.
But you have to ask your self, why is that file so big? looking through it you will see a bunch of error messages similar to what you see in the console. in fact they are those messages.
Thanks. Yep, I moved out to a new partition just to be safe. Unity started without problem. The file is probably huge because I have crashed Unity countless of times the past 2 years so far. Thanks for your answer.

Haha. I literally laughed out loud when I read your file was 'Over 8GB !!', because I was troubleshooting this exact issue.
My Edit-prev.log file is 252GB (as you can see in this screenshot using WinDirStat - GNU General ublic License software)...
Good to know you can remove this ;)
