I want to shut down unity (cmdQ)

I want to stop unity on my mac but when i press Quit (cmdQ) nothing happens. anyone know how to fix that?

Go to the Shortcut manager of Unity : Edit > Shortcut
In the Main Menu category, search Exit
Double-click on the File/Exit entry
Press CMD + Q

You are done.
