Gradient animation

Hi!

How to adjust the gradient animation of a simple picture? Unity gives such a script https://docs.unity3d.com/ru/530/ScriptReference/Gradient.html, I attached it to the picture , but nothing happens. I just want to make a shimmering Canvas picture during the game.
