Terrain Alphamap Transition?
This question has been asked multiple times before, but never really answered correctly.
How do you get rid of that annoying cross-fade between the terrain's textures?
I know that there's this, but the shader doesn't seem to work as it's probably outdated.

I don't think you can "turn it off", but you can use shaders to mess with stuff. For the project I'm working on I'll have to fix this issue too, but I'm leaning more torwards: http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/Andrey$$anonymous$$ishkinis/20130716/196339/Advanced_Terrain_Texture_Splatting.php
