ControllerColliderHit: best way to check if is ground

@skovacs1 talks about three ways to check if the object is colliding with the ground or with something else.
Now, my question is, since ControllerColliderHit is called basically at every frame, what is the best way out of those three, assuming they all give the exact same result?
