Fast forward time and NavMeshAgents in Unity
I'm making a game where my characters have to go from one room to another, in a very similar way to how it happens in The Sims. I'm (necessarily) using Unity's navigation system. I want to implement a fast forward feature. It should pretty much look like this (from 0:34 to 0:38): https://youtu.be/1TC7KZUZZHQ?t=34
I have tried to increase Time.timeScale, but this doesn't give me the desired results, because the characters can't get through the doors due to their high speed, they keep going back and forth, missing the door. How else could I achieve this fast forward functionality? I don't get how it could be possible... Any help is welcome! Thanks!!
