Is tilemap renderer sorting done by camera y position?
Hello. When I create a simple tilemap with different texture sprite tiles overlapping they change render order back and forth as I move the camera on the height of the screen (y direction in 2d coordinates).
I`m making this game for mobile devices so using multiple different tilemap renders with different sort orders is not an option because I get a huge drop in performance. Can anyone explain how the order in tilemap renderer works? Changing the sort order in the renderer does nothing regarding this issue. Update : Managed to find the issue in the frame debugger. The Draw Dynamic texture order seems to change when I move the camera.
Solved the problem packing all the sprites used with sprite packer!
