How to switch axis in animation in preferences/settings

Hi, I am using Mac (mojave 10.14) and my friends are using windows. I am creating animations. when i rotate x axis, they have rotated y axis by same angle. Does anyone has same problem and know how to solve it, in best way in preferences/settings
