How to make edges of laser more clear
I'm using a line renderer to create a laser of dynamic length (aka objects block it). However, I've noticed that when I have multiple lasers overlapping in the scene it becomes difficult to discern the placement of the different lasers in space relative to each other.
In this image, for example, the total width of every laser is exactly the same color, with no edges. As a result, it's hard to tell which laser is coming from where.
I'm not very familiar with working with shaders/materials, and I suspect that the solution to this problem would be beyond my current abilities.
Ideally, the lasers would have some sort of edges that would allow you to distinguish their order relative to each other and tell which laser are "on top" of which others. Could someone give me some tips on how I might approach this?
