fatal error

I use unity 3.4 ... I reinstalled my unity then I opened ... but still give me this error... and when I open other projects it work perfectly , but when I want to opened my project give me this error... what should I do?
No idea about error, but maybe a clearer title will help solving your problem :)
To be fair, the question title is exactly as clear as the error on that screen!
It was 5 years ago when this question was asked.
Create a new project, and simply copy all your assets and scenes into the new project folder. That might just work. I've had a corrupt project file before.
Also try opening one of your other scenes, not the last loaded scene in the project. That might determine if its a problem with the scene or the project file itself.
Would be a shame, though- you'd have to reset all the project metadata, which takes a very long time for a big project!
i copied it and it opened assests in new peoject... but every thing was purple , no texture and no mesh... all the objects that I imported from maya didn't existed!!! oh! I need that old project!! I put my life on that!
the other scene has the same problem too ... it's with prject! i'm dying... any one knows? :((((
