Mesh-Cutting metal Jaws-of-life
Hi Guys!
For a VR experience we're developing to train fire marshalls of our local department, we're trying to develop an environment where they can use jaws-of-life (huge handheld cutting machines) on actual objects. To enhance realism, it would be nice if we could realistically cut metal bars. I've found solutions online that show me how to do mesh cutting. But this misses the "oompf" cutting metal has, how would I get the meshes to deform naturally with the increased pressure? Getting nicked first, bending and finally snapping. Mesh cutting doesn't have any "weight" to it.
I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts/ solutions you guys have
Thanks!
Nathalie
