Capsule collider effect for a custom kinematic player controller script
I am making a 2d platformer and I built my own script for player controller using raycasts. the player moves by using transform.Translate.
Now my character has a round head, so I want to add a capsule collider effect on its head so when it jumps up and bumps into corners of platforms, the rounded angle of its collider will push him slightly off the corner.
However, it is not effective to use a capsule collider 2d, as the player moves solely through script.
I would be incredibly thankful for any ideas on how to implement such a script.
