RPGtalk computer name
Is there anyway I can make it so that the unity asset addon 'RPGtalk' can know the players computer name, I've tried using variables by using this script
using UnityEngine; using System.Collections; using UnityEngine.UI; public class Username : MonoBehaviour { public static string myName; public RPGTalk rpgTalk; public void IKnowYouNow(){ rpgTalk.variables [0].variableValue = System.Environment.MachineName; } }
and the variable name [USERNAME] in the script but it never updates, does anyone know if its even possible to do this or how i can do this.
P.S Don't ask why I'm trying to get the computers name I just AM... Okay? and before you ask no its not to hack the players its to make the game feel more alive.
