Create NPC random talking animations with sound like HL2
Hi all, I am trying to write a script that will use a set of character talking (moving lips) animations and play them at random along with their associated audio files. This would be similar to the various NPC's that talk to you in Half Life 2. They seem to choose between 4-5 different talk animations with sound and play them at random and not repeat any one too often. I am thinking that each individual animation and it's associated sound file would be contained in a game object or some other container and then the containers would play at random with a test to see that the entire set was completed before repeating the process. If anyone could help with this, I think it would be really useful to a whole lot of people. Thanks.
