Complete AI Tutorial?
Are there any complete tutorials on enemy AI for unity? I know burgzergarcade has done one but its not exactly what I need, I need something that's similar to call of duty or any other new fps game. Can anyone suggest something?
You will properly never find a tutorial for an AI similar to Call of Dutys. It is very advanced and takes skill and most likely money to learn.
I meant like call of duty, just the basic sorts of things such as: they spawn, walk towards you, when close enough shoots at you and when you shoot them a few times it dies. I didn't mean the advanced AI of which call of duty actually uses.
try looking up the FPS tutorial on the UNITY documents. Try searching for Unity3d FPS tutorial. Part 3 has some basic AI like what you are searching for such as spawning, waypoint patrols, ect.
Hello, first of all open your notepad and write down what, you want the ai, do after that go to script refference page and learn the basics about, transforms, animations, variations and states, it nothing hard to do, good luck :)
