Changing materials affects multiple objects
I have a player object. I was experimenting with a new material so I duplicated the player object. I Unpacked the prefab as to NOT affect any other player object but it STILL keeps updating all player objects when I change materials. Im so confused.
How do I make sure it doesnt affect all player objects when I change the material for one of them?
Im having the same issue with the shaders on the materials themselves. Im experimenting with a new shader that Im making and changing the shader selected on ONE material is changing it on BOTH materials.
What is going on?! This is driving me insane. Im so close to finishing my first actually complete game, too...
Ideal result: I can duplicate an object/material. Edit that object/material without it editing the original object/material.
