Converting animations from after effects to png files to play as animations in unity caused to have too many files and caused large library size and low performance
I converted some after effects animations to PNG sequences to use them in unity as sprites for animations , I ended up having more than 1000 files of sprites which causes very low performance like lengthy loading times and large project size . I attempted to gather the sprites in sprite sheets but it didn't work out because it causes a big drop in quality and other problems concerning making the sprite sheets themselves . I want to know if there is a way of playing the after effects animations on unity without converting to PNG sequences and if not then is there a way to optimize the huge number of files i got in the end , like a good software to make sprite sheets or something completely different . Thanks in advance
