Play mode does not use light probes (2019.3)
I have a scene of a simple bedroom. All objects are static, all lighting is baked. Large objects such as the walls and floor use the Lightmap, smaller objects use the light probe data. It all looks great when in the editor.
However, as soon as I press play, all the smaller objects are brighter/incorrectly colored, as if not using the light probe data, which I confirmed that was the case. By pausing the scene and Light Probes to Off on an object's Mesh Renderer, it looked exactly the same as Blend Probes. What could be causing this??
I also get an error every time I start the scene, but I'm not sure if it's related.

Never mind, I solved it by disabling "Enter Play Mode Options" in Editor > Project Settings.
I was already freaking out on why this was happening. Same problem here, thanks for sharing.

If You want to still save time and have light probes and also lens flares have correct brightness, enable "Enter Play Mode Options" but also enable "Reload Scene".
