Prefab Spawning With SpawnPoints (Loot System)

Hello,

I'm searching for help towards make a loot system, by using my ItemPrefabs that already have my scripts on. (use scripts etc.).

I want to have it, so I place a EmptyGameObject with an indicator (Tag maybe?) so only that category of loot spawns, example.

I have a EmptyGameObject with a tag "Food", so it makes only items with tag Food spawn on that place.

I'm not seeking for complete scripts, i'm just asking for a direction to go in, as I would not learn if i just got the scripts. Maybe examples of methods used, anything would help!
