Tiles Have Glitchy Edges; Why?
I've done the "Ruby's Adventure" tutorial in which I import some tilemap images and lay them down. Now, I've downloaded some 16x16 tilemap images (finalbossblues.itch.io) and imported one of those. I can carve that into tiles and start painting with them. But the tiles have obvious glitchy edges around them. I made sure that the image loaded with 16 pixels/unit, and the camera's on ortho.
I've looked for answers on this and see years-old info that doesn't work, such as defining a sprite atlas. How do I take a random tilemap like this one and start using it with a minimum of jumping through hoops? This process worked fine for the tutorial, with the tutorial images.
