Is there any way to use a DLL which accesses Win UWP Bluetooth LE and still have it work in the editor?
When compiling a DLL to use Win BTLE functionality it won't load as the editor is based on a very old version of .NET which does not seem to have the functionality which BTLE is now built on. I know I can make a UWP build which will work, but without interactive/editor debugging this will be a nightmare. The alternative is to use the horrific unmanaged C BTLE code from about 10 years ago and build a C DLL, but this is also a pain to debug as you have to keep quitting Unity to load a new unmanaged DLL. So has anyone had any success using BTLE in Unity on the PC, using the IDE, without having to buy an expensive add-on please?
