How to obtain third person accuracy
Hi, in my game where you shoot physical objects I want the physical object(in this case a rocket) to land precisely in the middle of the screen(where the crosshair is pointing). But with the default position and rotation of the rocket launcher and range that is not going to happen.
The different problems I am facing is how would I make a dynamic aim for physical objects to hit the middle of the screen no matter how far or how close the object I am aiming at is at.
What I tried didn't quite work is just before Instantiating the rocket cast a ray and make the spawn point(where the rocket is supposed to spawn) look at that point(hit.point), and rebel the rocket with a forward direction towards the target but it never achieved the results I wanted.
So handsome can you help me in making the physical rocket always hit where the crosshair is pointing(middle of the screen).
Thank you.
I'm confused, are you asking for a ho$$anonymous$$g laser guided rocket like in HL2?
