Physics.2D in 3D game
I've got a 2.5D game and was wondering if it possible to use Physics2D in a 3D game with normal 3D colliders (Use Physics.CircleCast instead of Physics.SphereCast)? If a bullet is fired I want it to collide with objects no matter what the Z position is. Is this possible or do I have to convert my normal colliders to 2D colliders?

The 2D and 3D physics systems don't interact at all so no, you can't do that. You can use 2D physics components on 3D rendering objects but that's just mixing rendering/physics.
