Problem animating Shader Properties
Hey there, I just wanted to see if someone had previously encountered this issue and found a fix for it, I'll try to go into as much detail I can.
The first thing to explain is that I'm creating and instanced gameObject with a SpriteRenderer, then I add to said gameObject an Instanced version of the Base object SpriteRenderer material.
After that using some custom commands I add an Animator using an Instanced AnimationOverrideController to which I then the overwrite the using clip in such override controller so each object instance has its own material and it's own animator using the correct clip I called when instancing.
The AnimationClip that then starts running in question is indeed making the sprite look the intended way I want it to look like animating the SpriteRenderer.Material.Properties.
When I check the GameObjec in the Inspector at runtime the shader values look fine like this:
BUT when I open the material in the SpriteRenderer Component it looks like this:
The GameObject looks as inteded but I need to be able to correctly read the Material Properties at runtime.
If you read this far at least let me thank for your time and if anyone know what's happening please help. Thanks.
