Imported model textures are solid colour
Hi, I have designed a model in Sketchup and then imported it into Blender and finally into Unity as a fbx file. The model itself is fine however the texture is just a solid colour, even when i remove it and place other materials on, the result is still a solid colour. If anyone knows how to fix the issue or if there is something else I have to do before importing it into Unity that would be great.
Sounds like your model doesn't have a uv-map. To check this change the screen layout in blender from default to uv-editing, go into edit-mode (right window) and select all faces. You should now see the uv-mapping (in the left window) if your model contains uvs. If not you have to unwrap your model and assign the texture before exporting it to unity.
