slider controlling in unity 3d game,About Sound Slider Control

Hi.. sir i am making a racing game.when i reduce a sound through slider in main menu and go to gameplay.play the game and go to in the main menu the slider value is maximum in mainmenu again.kindly any tell me about that. ,
