HDRP Decal Projector doesn't show in game view
Hi, I'm trying to use the decal projector, but its not showing up in the game view. I can see it in scene view either in play mode or not. Not sure why it doesn't work in the game view. I have decals enabled in my HDRP asset, and also my materials have "receive decals" enabled. I'm attaching a screenshot.
You can see the red circles around the troopers feet show in the scene view, but in the game view (lower part of image) they don't show at all. I have tried placing decals on other objects as well with the same result. Any help much appreciated.
I am having this same issue. I can see my decal just fine in the "Scene" view. But in the "Game" view they do not appear at all. Hope someone can help.
I was having a similar issue until I played with my camera settings. The issue for me appears to be that a camera that's only rendering a specific layer and has higher depth than main camera somehow draws over the decal. Do you have more than 1 camera?
Hey @AlphaCephei Your solution was right for me, but how did you solve it with a second Cam? I have a Camera that only draws a crosshair that should be always visible. if I disable it the decals are drawn from the other camera...
Hey @$$anonymous$$ihajloNen, I haven't solved it yet. I'm glad that my suspicions are confirmed, as I actually reported a bug on that issue. Check this here: http://fogbugz.unity3d.com/default.asp?1189943_1gs2re8j3hq42aac
