Creating a mask on my player character.
I'm wondering if this would be possible. I'm looking to have a heart shape on my player character which shows health depleting when it takes damage. I figured the best way would be to use a mask. However when I use a canvas in world space and try to scale it down, it gets very pixelated and not what I'm looking for. Has anyone else tried this, or would be able to offer me a solution? Thanks for checking this out :)

Seems like overkill to me... Why not just use the Image component's fill attribute? That's what it's there for.

check that the inspector is not this the resolution of your sprite very small ... which is also the size of the canvas ......
