You can for certain use touch script for windows standalone apps. I use the asset all the time, and the author, who now works for Unity I think, is very responsive on his message board.

That said, I found your post because I was looking to see if the Unity Touch class had been updated to support standalone builds yet or not.

Me again. After a quick test, yes, the Input.Touch class is working with Unity 5.5.

Touch Script will still work as well, but it does have some issues handling certain UI elements such as scroll view, so I might lean away from it in favor of Input.Touch.

Hey thanks for Your answer. Sorry that i am writing so late, i am already uing TouchScript library and it's work great for me. About issues there still is som you say but it is to handle it.

I was wondering before i've used TouchScript does Unitys native Input Library handle it on standalone but it seems that its working only on mobile devices.

Input.Touch will work for a Windows Standalone build yes. I think the caveat is that you must have an EventSystem with a StandaloneInput$$anonymous$$odule attached. Also note that you might have to check off the 'Force $$anonymous$$odule Active' box.

This method allowed me to use all standard UI functionality as well as create a multi touch raycast messenger for interacting with non UI elements.
