Making a trail renderer keep it's form of arc when object moves (Keep it in local space)
I am trying to draw out a trajectory for a 2D motion of a shot object so the player can see where their shot will go before shooting it. The issue is that when the player rotates, the trail renderer of the object is in world space, creating this weird noodle-like motion instead of simply having the trail be a world space object. Is there a better way to draw out the trajectory or is there a way to convert the trail renderer's positions whenever movement occurs to give the appearance that it is in local space? I know that a trail renderer cannot be in local space. Should I try to make a line renderer that mimics a trail renderer as it can be in local space?
