weird distorted artifacts after baking (unity 2017.4.28f1)
hello folks,
im having trouble with baking results with my map im working on. the map im working on is a apple store that ive modeled in sketchup. everythings fine until i start baking the map. take note that the lights in the main store area are emitted by material and mainly dont have severe artifacts coming from there but fairly few. the results were these dark spots in the "bake only" spotlight area coming from the back of the store as shown the image below, the few other nearby spotlights were set to mixed but the spot artifacts didn't came from them as it seemed that they weren't baked. so ive checked in the "generate lightmap UV's " option anyways. now i end up getting severe distorted bake maps in the back area of the entire store.
