"Bone index is not within the number of bones?"
When I try to build & run a development build within the editor with profiler attached, I get the following error, preventing the build from completion:
Bone index is not within the number of bones. UnityEngine.GUIUtility:ProcessEvent(Int32, IntPtr)
I googled for a solution, and couldn't find one.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had the issue, closing unity didnt help, but switching to another scene, running and switching back fixed it for me

I suddenly started getting this error and I tried the above suggestions to no avail. I am on Unity 2020.1.10f1 and the same thing was happening on 2020.1.9f1. I am totally stumped and there seems to not be any other insights on the Internet for this specific error upon search. Any help is much appreciated.
Cheers, IM
