Matching Pixels Per Unit (PPU) of sprites on a mesh material texture (shader)?

How do make this work in Unity?
I'm overwhelmed by the technical side of Unity and only need this one shader so I can focus on working on sprite asset packs around this concept. Any help would be appreciated.
