How do I build a search box for mapbox in Unity 3D?

I am currently learning Unity and C#, my skill level is only basic, so I have been looking for help getting my head around making a store locator using mapbox sdk for unity.

I am having great success using gps location of device to show location on map and stores, but I dont know where to start with adding a search box in the UI so the user can type in a location and find it on the map like with Google maps.

There is a whole fantastic tutorial on the mapbox website on how to create a store locator, but nothing for Unity, and I am determined to learn C#.

Any suggestions much appreciated!
