Transfering an older build of an app to android.
I have been testing my application on an android device by makeing changes and than rebuilding to a tablet. All build versions are saved in Builds folder. I was wondering if it is possible to transfer onto a tablet an older build. To elaborate : Let's say I am now at version 15. This version is built to a tablet and has some uwanted behaviour. And so do 14 and 13. So I now wont to transfer the version 12 onto my tablet, but cannot revert changes in the editor project. So is there a way to transfer a ver12.apk file to my tablet as so it would replace my latest build == Rebuild an app to android from .apk file ?
The reson I wont to do this: I have a demo presentation and no time to debug.... :(
you usually install apk using ADB, right? run uninstall on the current package and install the lower versioned one. In place downgrading is not possible.
@hexagonius No, I actually build an app in unity and it is autoinstalled to a usb-connected android device. Will now try just transfering the .apk file into android download folder and running it. As I understand .apk files are installation files.

I hawe just uninstalled the latest build aplication from the tablet, transfered the version12.apk file into downloads and just ran it on a tablet, thus new installation process started and version12 is installed. (uninstalling the unity app on android also removes detabase and pleyerPrefs)
thanx anyway
