Problem with unloading Unity game within iOS app.
Our team is trying to integrate a Unity game into our iOS application.
The Unity game is launched by user clicking on a button from within the iOS app, which is loaded into it's own view, and overlaid on top of the iOS app.
When the user finishes the game, the user can click on a button within the game to return to the iOS app. This is currently done by hiding the Unity game, because we have not found a way to properly unload the game.
The problem with this approach, is that any other games based on Cocos2d that also loads from this iOS app, shows up stretched/skewed. Typically only one corner of the game shows up and take up the whole screen.
We are new to Unity and tried googling for solutions to no avail... please help! Thanks!
as far as im aware, there is no way to gracefully close an application in iOS, it all seems to be either hide it, or kill it brutally (which means OnApplicationQuit and such things don't get called. I would love to be corrected on this, because its an annoyance.
I am also researching this at the moment. I know by calling applicationWillTer$$anonymous$$ate causes Unity to shutdown. However it won't reload properly at that point.
