Can I use My Friends 3D-models in my Game (free)
Hey guys, my friend used to use unity a lot but he has quit and he gave me all of his assets in one big .rar file. Pretty much has a bunch of free and paid assets from the asset store. I was wondering if I would get in trouble if I used the 3d models he paid for in my game even though its free. Can someone please enlighten me?
So I can use them? Sweet! Was a bit worried because I thought that maybe the fact that I wasn't the one that bought would mean that I couldn't use them but if he no ght them and gave them to me that I understand how that's pretty much a transfer of goods. I'll make sure to give credit to the developers anyways and thank you for a quick response

Nothing prevents you from using the assets since they are downloaded free or paid from the asset store. The agreement remains between you and your partner, if he paid for those and wants you to use his paid assets.
Nothing else gets you in trouble, use them :)
