UNET replacement question
Hello,
I'm currently in the process of learning the multiplayer aspects of game development. I've built a lot of single player games in the past and now I believe it's time to expand my knowledge. I've been following a YouTube tutorial series on LLAPI that has been helpful, however, I'm noticing a lot is deprecated, for example NetworkTransport.
Since there isn't anything official information out yet on the new system and I couldn't find any guides my question is if it would be a good idea to wait until Q4 of 2019 until it gets released or if I should continue with the deprecated version. Can I still make a successful game with it? If I do will it still work in 5, 10, x years? Also the game I plan to make is dedicated server not peer to peer with matchmaking and instanced matches
I appreciate your help. Thanks!
