My Build won't run properly on Win 8.1
Hello guys,
So I recently bought a new laptop(with win 8.1), and transferred my files from my old laptop( with win 7) to this one, the Editor is working perfectly I have no troubles with that. The only thing that worries me is that , when i build it, or run a build from my partner's PC ( who has win 7) it doesn't work properly, the whole Main Menu scene is black, not even Texts appear and if by any chance i hit the "Start Game" button then the game isn't working properly, I can see a few models, but the lighting other shaders and effects are missing. This happens only on win 8.1 ( I tested on a friend's PC ) and on all the other Win 7 PCs it works perfectly fine...I'm really worried because the game is soon to be released and not just me I want the other players to enjoy the game , no matter the OS. It's not a matter of specs, and also tried compatibility to lower OSs..but nothing. If anyone knows how to deal with this problem please reply :)

Sounds like a graphics card driver issue. Have you tried updating drivers?
but i can already play other Unity games and also the same thing happens to others Win 8 laptops. But i'll give it a try. Thank you :)
Hi Nick, I was wondering if you found a resolution to your issue?
We're having the same "blank screen" issue with some Win 8.1 PCs too, while our executable works well with all Win 7 PCs and other Win 8.1 PCs.
I think the answer to everyones problems is on your computer go to System properties > updates > Check for updates > then install everything. repeat this process until there are no updates left. If its still not working, you probably bought a really cheap windows 8 laptop with a horrible graphics card that is not capable of running unity
