keep my collider on my particle system close together
my player is a flame, it has a particle system and a colider i dont want the whole flame to be a collider just the small circle i use a constant force component for movement but when it moves the flame isnt sticking with the colider its behind by a centimeter (see second picture), i have my particle systems simulation space set to world which gives me the desired effect of movement but id like it to keep emmiting from its origin point which is where the colider is, ive tried moving the partcle system position but that doesnt seem to fix it, ive also noticed i can set the particle system itself to be a colider which seems like it could fix my issue but im unsure how to use it and as mentioned wanted the colider to remain small and at the base any ideas on a solution or work around for this?

Unless you have enabled Collision module, the collider is irrelevant to the particle behavior. My guess is that your Color Over Lifetime gradient uses a rather long interpolation of alpha from 0 to 100%, hence flame particles appear to be offset from the emitter origin.
many thanks for your reply i wasnt using colour over life time but your reply made me think it must be a rendering issue i was using stretched billboard changed to billboard and all is good many thanks
