Text not being rendered on canvas
With a little trail and error I found that if the Canvas that has text I want to display is not enabled at the start of the game, then when I do enable the canvas during game play, the text does not show up.
I'm going to assume this is for optimization? Is their anyway I can override this, so I can enable a canvas and still have the text properly appear?
What? Do you mean you disabled BOTH the canvas and the text? Just enable the text too, and only disable the canvas, or enable the text by script with text.setActive(true);
@Entelicon have you checked text's color and size? Kindly doublecheck size, color and position of the text in a canvas.
